My Half Blood Prince movie review

First let me say this. I am so tired. I got coffee today (something I avoid while pregnant) but it's not working. I'm on about 3 hours of sleep. Not only could I NOT fall asleep last night when I went to bed, but I also woke up several times during the night and spent the last hour and a half tossing and turning before my alarm went off this ( Read more... )

Did you end up finding anyone to go with? I think the Gaunt's place and the memories about like...the hufflepuff cup would've been good. How else is he going to figure out all the horcruxes by himself? And I hope to god they talk about the Deathly Hallows in the next movies more than they talked about the Half Blood Prince in this one....

Okay... so I skipped the spoilers. I don't want to be spoiled until I see it. ;)
But as far as the "Away We Go" movie... OMG!! lol. I hope there were no little ones in the theatre!!

Just tell me this... are the rumors true? Is the movie REALLY, REALLY dark??

Anyway - the movie is darker than usual. Yes. But no more dark than OotP or PoA were.

And there were people there who were under 18 in the theater. LOL

Okay... repling via email then. lol. Not going to spoil myself. Of course.... I read 1/2 the book, does that count as spoiling? Probably not. lol. Wasn't there a big hoopla about this book? Because someone died of something? Or was that PoA?? Anyway....

I can't wait to see it! :D

I know - we all got a free pass to see another movie and it's good until 2011. LOL

Yes, this is the one that everyone freaked out about because there is a death of a major character in this one. I'm surprised you haven't heard about it yet. LOL

And no - reading the book (and only half of it) does not count as spoilers. There are specific things in this movie (and in my review) that hint at things to come in the next movies and book. :)

I think this movie was the LEAST like any of the others book wise. I really didn't like it much. The first 10 minutes I turned to my sister and was like "I don't like it" they had stuff in there that didnt matter and left the biggest effing parts out like the memories... My mom asked me "How was the big battle at the end??" and I was like, "uh, what battle..." bah! I was sooo looking forward to this one since it's such a great book, but the movie just sucked.

BUT! I forgot to tell you the funniest thing Logan did. He was sleeping and he jolted in his sleep when the Death eaters made the fire around the Weasley house. too funny! Had me and chris cracking up
