So, just wondering, why do so many people get so wrapped up in their relationships these days? I'm not trying to diss on my friends with boyfriends/girlfriends, but seriously, your friends are the ones who have been their for you through it all. Katie, I love you so much and i cant even imagine leaving for school and not having you there everyday! Thanks for everything u have done for me this summer! I am so glad that we have become so close this summer. We have a friendship that will last a lifetime and that is something that is few and far between. I'm hear for you if you ever need anything, i am just a phone call away.

petey i love you and i am sorry to have made you cynical and bitter. if all of your friends had the same views on all subjects - we wouldn't be much fun to hang out with cause it would be like hanging out with yourself. one of the interesting parts of life is that everyone is different. Some people need to learn certain things theirselves and in their own way, at their own time. You have been fortunate to learn a lot about this topic already. I LOVE YOU and i am going to miss you so much when I leave. love mcnick <3

unfortunatly love doesnt exactly pick an age, time of day, or scene. i remember karin telling me tht i always did things the hard way, she was right of course, but when i get to thinking about it, it seems that everyone does things the hard way. i think its funny sometimes, reading your journal, mostly the comments, because no one really says anything different then what youve said. not to say your are but, no one says hey, maybe youre wrong about something. who knows, you might be right but still no one dares doubt you, even though in the end it might just strenghten your resolve. no men alone arent the answer, but trading one illusion of home for another isnt eaither. all this cynisicm and bitterness are all things that you have choosen for yourself and looking at this entry, i dont think its working out so well ( ... )
