GreenMay
Up until recently, Katie was never very close with Green. She'd known him on a friendly level in the past, but most of her feelings were just that of a teenage girl's crush on a cute and strong trainer. However, in recent weeks, Green has been more of a presence in her life; coming to her defense on numerous occasion and just generally being there for her when she needed it. While she firmly believes nothing will come of it, it's only intensified her feelings for him.
May is another person that Katie can distinctly remember meeting for the first time. It was in Viridian, and it didn't take very long for them to become friends. Just like many of her friendships, she's not particularly close with May, but given the opportunity, they can talk for hours over just about anything. Frustrating at times is when May teases Katie about her crushes, but overall, she rarely minds it. Especially because it's usually followed up with more important talk - strategy and advice for Katie's journey. Overall, Katie appreciates May's friendship and ulitmately hopes that they'll become closer in the future.
ErikaRed
Having met Erika seven years ago when Katie initially challenged her to a Gym battle in Celadon City, Katie really enjoys Erika's company. Always friendly and often sisterly to her, Katie looks forward to getting the chance to talk. It always makes her smile to see Hahani and Leafeon bond too - a huge reason for why they became close in the first place. Always traveling, it's hard for Katie to see Erika often, but they talk frequently enough to keep their friendship kindled.
Katie's idol. Red is the reason that Katie decided to take the plunge and become a Pokemon trainer. She admires him in a way that she admires very few people - only really rivaled by her parents, though for different reasons. Now that she's met Red, Katie is even more enamored with him, seeing first hand what a kind person he is. She's spoken to him only a couple of times, all very recent, but it still excites her nonetheless.
BillZeke
Having used Bill's technology for years, Katie was always unsure of anything else about him. After meeting him at the PNG launch party, she took a liking to Bill. She things he could stand to be a little more relaxed and open, and hopes in the future she can help change it. But he's a cool guy/doesn't afraid of technology. Overall, she thinks he's worth talking to more in the future.
Katie doesn't really know anything about Zeke. She ran into him outside of the PNG launch party, where her Pokemon took a defensive stance against him. He proceeded to run away - even though she chased him down and tried to apologize. It didn't seem to go very smooth. Katie thinks he's weird and kind of a jerk, but she's eager to both battle him and figure out what his deal is.
KogaAyane
In the past, Katie had never really bore much of an opinion on Koga. They'd met once in battle, and while she admired his skills as a trainer, she knew little else of him. It wasn't until they met that things changed in that regard; He always seems to have helpful advice to give her and has even offered her a form of his defense. She's a bit enamored with him, but more so as a fatherly figure or a mentor than anything else.
While Katie doesn't necessarily have a problem with Ayane, she's definitely not her favorite person. She's taken the place as a rival in Katie's life, especially in terms of accomplishments as a trainer. Ayane's attitude often annoys Katie, causing her to usually get extremely sarcastic when they meet or talk on any given occasion.
SimonCOMING SOON
Katie's worst nightmare. At first, she thought he was just an annoying creep, but after being threatened and called "his toy" by her, she's completely terrified of him. Even though she was fortunate enough to have people take her side, she's scared of running into him, to the point where it keeps her up at night when it gets on her mind. While she intends on playing off in the event it happens, she's really not sure what to expect should they meet face to face.

JodieArthur
Katie's mom and a former coordinator. Though she retired shortly after getting married, she still cares for her Pokemon like they're family. She has a tendency to go overboard with the mom thing, frequently protesting that Katie doesn't call or visit enough - and sometimes making Green an example of a "good kid," much to Katie's chagrin. Though they have their tiffs, Katie loves and respects her mom.
Katie's father and a huge inspiration on her life. He was a trainer in his hayday, thought he's since retired to research the history and mythology of Pokemon. When Katie was young, he left to study Sinnoh's history, leaving his prized Vaporeon, Hahani in her care. They still talk and visit each other whenever possible, and he always does what he can to help Katie. He makes sure that even though he's not always physically there, she remains "Daddy's Little Girl."
SteveCHARACTER
Katie's little brother and often the bane of her existence. He can be loud and bratty, and even though he's younger, he loves to tease Katie. Especially when he gets a hold of her diary and threatens to tell everyone he knows about all her crushes. He's currently doing the Gym Challenge in Kanto - his first go as a trainer. When push comes to shove, they're there to support each other, and Katie frequently offers him advice. He's a bit of a momma's boy sometimes though.
