I wish I could understand the concept of eternity.

I wish I could be selfless.

I'm so selfish that I'll not love so I don't get hurt.

Where is the balance between guarding your heart and loving perfectly as God does? I've learned that God makes Himself vulnerable to hurt and therefore... so should I. I love you! Thailand is beautiful. I miss you girl. How are things??

oh i miss you too! i'm so glad you like thailand so far. i knew you would.

things are tiring. very very tiring. i feel like everything i do is draining me of more energy- physically and emotionally. but that doesn't change who God is- he's amazing and his peace is so perfect. i'm excited about teaching tomorrow (our teaching/preaching assignment) and then our test and then... christmas break!!!

anyway. trying to keep the eyes on the prize and maybe one day i'll end up just a girl wandering through north africa with nothing but a backpack and a prayer.
