Wow, you've been friends for a year before this. Great. Want a "Guaranteed Relationship Survival" coupon? You've only been going out for a month, there's a very different dynamic between friendship and dating. Even though dating is only essentially adding one layer to friendship, that's still a very large, heavy layer.

One month is nothing, friends or not. Your friendship doesn't count towards your relationship, it doesn't give you points, it doesn't do anything.

It's a new game. I wish you and the rest of the world understood that.

My dear Dustin why can't you just accept the fact that I am happy in the relationship that I'm in and wanted to express that.
