Scraps & Oils

Dec 16, 2004 18:16

Hey sewin' Mamas. Any of yous know where I can purchase fabric scraps? Especially fleece and hemp?
Also where can I find "essestial" oils at a good price/amount, e.g., lemon, orange, grapefuit and euchalyptus.

Thanks a bunch.

i have about 1/2 yard of fleece that i don't need. the only problem is... it's pink with blue and white polka dots. haha. lemme know if you want it for shipping costs only.

i'll check out the s/h today. i was making liners for karuna's cpfs and wipes. i'm phasing out cpfs, though, so i don't need the other 1/2 yard. :) i found the fleece at walmart for $4.44 a yard. it's 100% polyester, perfect for liners. email me your address and i'll send it out today (bhargavidasi@cox.net). :)

nah...i just wanna make some cloth wipes for the next baby, since we use cloth dipes. and the cloth wipes i've been using are just cheap baby wash cloths and not so soft. that's all.

Fabric Bonanza, if you have one around you, usually carries all types of fabric scraps. Also Treasure Island and Hancock Fabrics are good sources. I can easily spend an entire day at Treasure Island. For essential oils I would try an internet search for Indian sites that sell them.

I have a botanica here in Jacmel. I make all my own products and distill all my own oils. They are 100% pure and natural. If you like I can donate some oils to you if you pass the word along where you got them and help me build up my US clientel, ;p
You will find that these oils are top quality.

Send me an email at mail@madhumangala.com or YIM "madhugopa". I'm usually online in the evenings. :)
