sad day at our house
I feel like such a fool. My daughter-in-law's grandmother passed away today, and she is such a wreck, and I do not know how to comfort her. This has been a long time coming, and the woman was well up in age..maybe into her 90's, and I do so understand how it feels to loose someone, but my heart keeps telling me how wonderful it is that she is

This is the part that she has to really think about. If her grandma was in such a bad way for weeks beforehand, it is a good thing she no longer suffers. Yes, it is hard to lose a relative, but personally, I think it is harder to watch them suffer and not have the quality of life the used to enjoy.
Let's hope that the job is making D grow up. He really needs to start taking responsibility for himself and bring his wife along with him.
