Poverty on that scale is a hard thing to digest when you come form such abundant wealth and opportunity. Our hardest day is a small thing in contrast it seems. I'm glad you got to play with little Mexican children, I had one steal a camera from my bag once. It was put to better use by his hand than mine, no doubt.
I am so jealous that you are going to the Channel islands. I've tried to figure out a way to go myself many times on Papa Gary's dime. Alas, it has yet to work out for me. You'll have to let me live through your pictures someday.
