Somarium, I humbly acquire assistance. Many things in Somarium, mythical, fictional. I negate for this to be true, until now.

[...No, that wasn't her point.]

I confirm them to be true after arriving here, many things are mysterious. Books, not always reliable. My inquiry. Experience, important? Reading about a topic, experiencing that topic, not ( Read more... )

mostly just booksmart, speaking oddly by choice okok

No dear, it is not the same.

If not the same, you infer there must be experience?

Indeed, there must be.

Then knowledge, not enough for this or any world?

How would they be the same? They are vastly different, I would think.

Affirmative, I understand some are different. To elaborate question, is it needed?

Experience? In some things, yes. Definitely. For example, I am a musician. If I did not have experience in performing music, I would not be nearly as good as I am, yes?

But not all things need experience. Love. Life. Important things? Sometimes they can be more exciting without experience.

Love, does not need experience?

[Not that she even gets it, ffff.]

I'd think that experience is important. [ hm. ] To read about something is one thing, and to experience it is another altogether.

[ how can he explain this without... confusing himself...? the only thing he can think of without confusing himself is- ]

Like war- books give you the facts of the situation in cold print, but if you're there in that war then you know how it feels to be in that war, to hold those controls, to kill somebody. No one can live that while reading a book. If, ah- you get what... I'm trying to say.

[ because he ended up confusing himself anyway asflkalsf ]

[Well she understands that since she kills for knowledge and for that rush of excitement.]

Then more simpler things, not involving emotional stress?

Simpler things... [ sob he doesn't specialize in simple things. ;u;

but, after about three seconds total of thinking (two to go through the simple things in a mental list, and another to nitpick), he speaks up again. ]

They're the same, still. You can read about sleeping in, about making someone smile, about an emotion even -- but, you can't truly begin to understand it without having experienced it.

I understand, I beg you pardon me for my string of questions. However, when there is one goal in life, should you achieve other experiences?

Of course it's different.

Please, elaboration would be necessary.

What's the use for knowledge if you don't have the experience to use it?

Emergencies, help. Many things, useful even when least expected. Still in many areas, I have minimal experience.

[ . . .

She talks funny. Huh.]

Not the same at all! Books are one thing, but dealing with them for yourself is another thing entirely!

You know this, how? Things acquired from books, solve problems.

So does experience though.
