quixotic, by the way, comes from the literary work, "Don Quixote."

Don Quixote was the guy that was really idealistic, and although the world was telling him that what he believed so passionately believed was wrong, he believed it anyway, and fought back against all the persecution the world through at him.

to be "quixotic" would mean to be like him. passionately believing something no matter what anybody says, or what anybody does... Like Jesus. :0]
