i went to a catholic church for the first time in ages yesterday for my cousin's wedding. actually, none of my family has gone to church in a really long time. so we were all impressed with ourselves when we could remember all of the things to say. including the our father. i busted that thing out like it was no one's business

Hahahah. That's what it was like for me when I went to my Uncle Freddy's funeral and mass thingy. I haven't been in a Catholic church in ages and there we all were like little robots repeating what he said... I was getting all mad because he wasn't even talking about my uncle freddy.... just jesus. And then he said tha twe all had to pray really hard for uncle freddy to make it to heaven... i was like fuck no... he's already there man. I was getting sooooo mad! I refused that body of christ shit. I really want some kind of spirituality though..... but not catholicness or whatever. Hrmmmm. Maybe i'll find it in Texas!!!

So I really want to stop by your place and Todd's on my way there and hang out for a night. I'll keep you updated. Are you down though?

oh my god, hahaha.
i had to go to church for my baby cousin's baptism a few weeks ago and i totally blew myself away with my jesus-hour knowledge too. that stuff must really get burned into your memory.
