Saw this on Writer's Block and I am impressed. Wat did the 100 year old egg taste like? Brave for trying the pig's blood.

Why thank you! The 100 year old egg's yolk was really rich, kinda salty. The egg white was totally black and kind of rubbery, but tasty nonetheless. What have you tried?

I've yet to actually find century egg on a Chinese menu. I've always wondered what mouse tastes like. My cat seems to like it!

Not many Chinese restaurants serve aged eggs, but you can certainly get half a dozen for a few bucks at Asian supermarkets. They taste great in porridge.

I highly recommend that you try both!
