let's just take a moment to talk about Sonic. Sonic is a fast-food chain that started in the town where i (and a certain man named Brad Pitt) was born, Shawnee, OK. i know they don't have them *everywhere* in the country, but there are about 3,500 Sonic Drive-In's out there in america. i've heard a lot of people who are not from Oklahoma say that

Ooh I love sonic. Especially their drinks, they have what I call 'the good ice'. I've never specifically ordered the onion rings but I often get the chicken dinner which comes with one random one thrown in the fries. Since you are now an onion convert you must try the ultimate most delicious onion dish, the blooming onion at outback. Mmmmm.

HAHA, this was a great entry.

I like Sonic as far as fast-food goes. It is supremely greasy. Now, for an onion lover such as myself, I have to say that I am not a big fan of fast-food onion rings, but especially from Sonic. It seems like there is a certain after/taste that is on some of their items, and I can only think it would be grease. But it's funny tasting.

Either way, congratulations on your onion quest! Onions are fun. Do you omit things like shallots and chives from recipes, too?

Oh! One more thing--I was like this with tomatoes. Everything you just said about onions, replace w/tomatoes. I just started eating them last year.
