The meta here is absolutely stunning. I agree with all of it. My favorite part of M/M is that despite all of the obstacles facing them-- social graces, class lines, manners, Edwardian repression, penis injury, other love interests-- the biggest obstacle in the end is simply themselves. Simply human nature, really. The 'cursed' line is probably one of my favorites in the whole relationship because it's actually a self-imposed curse, tinged by guilt, regret, honor, and short-sightedness. GAHHHHHH.

GO TELL IT GIRL. That's why I LOVEEEE what they're going through because it's so deeply human that it hurts. They've been painted with such beautiful detail that it feels REAL and thus makes me that much more invested. Like...IDEC how quickly Matthew jumps out of his wheelchair if the human emotion regarding the event is real to me, and whatever goes on with the show as a whole, I feel like JF writes these two and WHO they are so superbly and Dan and Michelle portray it superbly. BUT I DIGRESS AND COULD WRITE SO MUCH ABOUT THEM IT'S RIDICULOUS SO I'LL SAY, YES! SO MUCH WORD. AND NOW I'M GOING TO GO CURL BACK UP IN MY FETAL POSITION UNTIL DAN APPEARS ON THAT QUIZ SHOW MAKING JOKES, AFTER WHICH I WILL RETURN TO SAID POSITION UNTIL M/M RETURN AT CHRISTMAS.
