How do you have such flawless music taste? Why is this so devastating? UGH I'm just going to reward your awesome with some fic chapter-posting tomorrow, okay.
IDEK WHAT TO SAY TO YOUR AMAZING COMMENTS, Z. I just basically cry internally at them. Then, I got to fic chapter posting and lost all control over my giddy self. Your comments are the greatest, bb. AND TO MAKE IT EVEN BETTER THERE'S PROMISED FIC. LKAJWEROIU.
What is most distressing about your fanmixes is that not only does your taste in music just click with mine - I have discovered and rediscovered so much amazing music through you - but they come with stories. There are many people who create mixes that are lovely, beautiful even, full of songs with feeling-inducing lyrics. You, however, take it to the absolute next level with heartwrenching meta reflective of quite as much dedication to the character(s) and the relationships as the creators themselves. And that is something incredible.
Cheers to making me cry yet again, and to what will hopefully be many many more mixes in the future!
I am so late replying to this, and I'm sorry for that, but know that when I saw your comment I was absolutely floored and honored by it; so much so I was pretty well speechless.
I love to make mixes. It's the creative experience that I find most rewarding and emotional in studying my favorite characters long after the credits have rolled and we're left to ruminate on their story.
This one became especially emotional when I learned from the BBC that we'd never have the story finished. It saddened and depressed me, and I'm still feeling it today. There are very few characters that move me like Freddie and Bel do (or any of the brilliant characters on The Hour for that matter). It was like having my favorite book taken from me, full of characters I invested my own tears and love in, before I could learn how their lives turned out. For that reason I feel like this one hurts that much more

So, I haven't actively used my livejournal in YEARS (I'm Historywhore on tumblr) but I needed to log in so I could tell you that this is truly gorgeous. I'm actually crying listening to the music and reading your perfectly worded descriptions. Absolutely perfect.
WOW. Thank you, thank you, for taking the time to let me know how much my post/mix touched you. I can't say how much such genuine messages like yours make my day. If others listen and are moved by the music and the words I put together about the characters that have such an impact on us, well that's all I could ask for. Truly, this comment was amazing to receive. Thank you again (and thank you for the follow)! ♥
