Mommy's Day

So yesterday was my very first real Mother's Day. I actually celebrated it while I was pregnant last year, because I was already a mommy. But this year I had the baby to celebrate it with!
I had such a wonderful day yesterday. My sweet husband made us a really nice breakfast, and I got flowers and gifts and cards and all that wonderful stuff from

Hi--I wanted to come in here and tell you that I loved your answers to Mona's quiz, and then I read the post up top about your first Mother's Day and now I'm all misty about that!LOL

The best thing I ever did was have my boys. There are two of them and they are 21 and 18 now. It's like yesterday that I had my first Mother's Day and I'm very happy for you.

Babies are awesome, aren't they?? :)

Awww thank you for the nice response! Yeah, I love my baby SO very much. Never thought I'd love someone as much as my husband, but then he came along! And it's nice that my husband loves him that much too. We have a blast, and it's one hell of an adventure... not quite what I expected. :-)

Do you live in England near Mona? Trying to get as many friends around there as possible, for when we go on vacation there... eventually. I already know a few old friends of mine that live there now.

Yes, it's a great adventure, Motherhood. And raising sons is such an insight into men. It turns out just like I thought--they're disgusting, gross creatures who completely steal your heart. ;)
