awwww, that's amazing!! i love little baby animals, i'll never forget the day i was six and riding my bike and saved a little baby robin egg from being eaten by a gazillion ants (its poor little brother or sister did not escape this fate D:). it hatched and it was SO CUTE and i was so sad that we couldn't keep it, lol!

ahh don't worry, you're doing it exactly right! it knits up like a giant tube, and then i'm pretty sure when you add the tassels, you close the ends and it flattens out. it's just like having a double-thick scarf when you finish. :D
