Am back in Singapore since yesterday..
I've been resting and reluctant to accept the truth that I am back here, in this HOT country.

I feel that I have a lot more stuffs to get, a lot more places to visit.

Time showed no mercy and passes so quickly.

Luckily I am on leave on Monday.
A long weekend for me to adjust my thoughts & feelings.

Located at he south exit of Shibuya station.
The statue was given as a token from 新島(Niijima) for celebrating
100th anniversary of 新島(Niijima) becoming a part of Tokyo since 1880.

It was made after the Moai statues in Eastern Island, Chille,
as Moyai means ’work together’ in 新島(Niijima) dialect.

土用丑の日「二の丑」

(doyou ushi no hi - Midsummer Day of Ox)

The Japanese believe in eating food starting with 'う' (u) on 丑の日 (day of Ox).
e.g. うどん(udon), 梅干し(umeboshi - plum), うなぎ(unagi - freshwater eel)

They believe that it will increase one's stamina and removes the lethargy during the
