Yesterday when I was at the hospital I ran into the head of pediatrics while I was in the cafe and he told me that Alex was up to 2300 grams (5 lbs., 1 oz.) and that they were moving him to Intermediate Care in the evening

just wanted to say smth to support. My daughter, who is just 5,5 months now, spent several weeks in hospital after birth. Everything will be fine, you just have to wait for a while. Hope that soon you and Alex will be at home

I'm not really worried anymore - healthwise he is pretty much in the clear - I'm just emotionally worn out from not having him at home. (You know what that's like!)
