17. [ Accidental Distress Call]

[ The journal clicks on as it's knocked off a desk during a sudden crashing noise, not unlike someone throwing themselves through a wall, followed by fierce snarling and falling debris from the ceiling. There are footsteps, and in the distance, something wooden cracks and another snarl rings out through the room. If you listen closely, you can hear

I think I was just attacked by a vampire.

[Richter isn't stupid enough to waste time with questions. He leaves Emil's side in the clinic and heads for Mithos' house as fast as he can. That innocent half-elf kid is in trouble and he's not about to let that pass. It's a good thing there's gaps in the maze, now. It doesn't take him more than ten minutes to get there.]

[ Hey, Richter! Feel free to walk in using one of the holes in the wall. They're probably easier than the splintered mess that was a doorway. Mithos is leaning against the wall opposite of said splintered doorway, surrounded by bits and pieces of wood, holding a bloody sword loosely in his hand. All that's left of the vampire body is some smoke clearing out of the room via the hole in the ceiling.]
