I finally got off my rear two weeks ago and got some ink. The knight is based on a painting called Beguiled by Barry Windsor-Smith, and the quote is from Virgil's 10th ecologue (omnia vincit amor -- love conquers all). I am going to follow this up with a similar piece on my left arm but the figure will be Aphrodite and the quote will be the 2nd part of the Virgil quote -- nos cedamus amoris (we must submit to love).

Are you heading up to Boston for the holidays or are you going to be around? We have been dealing with a lot of wierdness lately between Liz getting laid off and my health issues, but we are getting back on track. We are not going anywhere so maybe we can get together over next couple of weeks if you are around. We are talking about going to the club one of next weekends as long as my foot holds up. Liz is taking a class Teusday nights but other than that we are pretty open during the week -- so maybe we can do dinner.
