Title; Matchmakers
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Peter/Claire and a lot more
Disclaimer: I do not own Heroes
Author’s notes: This takes place after Vol. 3, but Peter does not have that one power at a time thing because I don’t like it! Also, fugitives never happened so forget about it! Thanks to Arinna, Mel, Alex, Lauren, and Beth for letting me use them

Having little Beth kiss her father Peter goodnignt and then insisting that Claire kiss him goodnight as well was adorable. It was also good that Peter got a chance to explain his side of the story to Laura, as she was judging Peter without having all of the facts. Now that she knows that Peter truly thought Claire was dead, Laura seems to be more sympathetic to him--they even exchange last names and discuss their abilities--and they manage to resolve their differences. Laura is shocked however, to learn that Peter has the same last name as Claire's grandmother, which makes her realize that Peter and Claire are in fact related to each other.

The chapter ends with Peter receiving a phone call from Alex the following morning. Peter tells him where he is and who he's with, and instructs Alex not to tell his family anything. When Clarie comes downstairs, she tells Peter that she slept better than she has in a long time thanks to Peter being there. Her cheerful mood is surprising, and Peter even offers to cook breakfast for her. You definitely get the sense that they still love each other, just as Laura observed the day before.

Once again you show great writing skill, with finely-detailed scenes and characterizations. Your dialogue and grammar are very good, and the story moves at a brisk pace. I really hope you update soon, because you are an extremely patient and talented storyteller. Well done!
