Here are two examples of their work up close. These stumps or logs are very heavy and are two trees that we hated to lose. I don't think I would like to be bitten with their teeth.

Wow what a set of chompers they must have! Thanks for showing off the images, I'll have to do some serious research on Wikipedia about those critters.
