Cobra Starship has left for mainland Europe, and the UK is once again a grey and neon-less place. I ended up going to the London date on Wednesday, which was interesting as always. I may have only gone to a couple of dates but I've heard enough to know that the whole tour was hilarious. So much gossip and ridiculousness, not that I would expect any ( Read more... )

I thought, watching the Wolverhampton show, that this would be the last time I saw them live. What with Gabe's drinking and the obvious tension on stage between Gabe and Alex when Gabe wouldn't stop talking.

Then there's the fact that Gabe went off in Leeds whilst the rest of the band went to a local bar. Did he end up in Big Hands?

Gabe's drinking though - when he's so plastered they won't let him into meet and greet, you know there's a problem.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was their last tour over here. They're playing Europe, Asia and then are doing a big tour in the states; I can see this as being their farewell tour.

To be fair, I don't think the band always go out together after a show, but there definitely is some tension between them. He was at Big Hands, but didn't really interact with the band, I think. It was the same at London. :\
