Merry Christmas. Not "Happy Holidays," but Merry Christmas. You know why? Because Christmas gets us time off school, not the other holidays. The break from school is finally here.

I got my PSAT scores last week. No comment on that, except to say that I'm a bit disappointed. SO close.

Hahaha, who told you that Lord of the Flies (which, by the way, you probably don't like because it's more geared towards guys and those who are interested in the "forbidden experiment") is like Battle Royale? Your second grade teacher read it aloud? Ludicrous, such a book is much too dark and complex for a second grade class.

Well, it actually spurs from the other way around where people and lots of internet sites call Battle Royale the "Lord of the Flies for the new generation". What a lie. I fell for it too this summer.

I remember reading LotF in third grade...and it freaked me out so badly that i seriously considered lying when we were supposed to read it for senior year (yeah, we read it last year, ok), but i didnt.

I dont know, i actually sort of liked it the second time. Ralph was SO much better than he could have been...
