I went to the recitals of some of the apprentices at Ash Lawn over the weekend, since I'd been in the company of those guys since forever ago and couldn't wait to hear them perform like the leads they're all meant to be. And they were spectacular. Shannon has the best voice I've ever heard in person for a soprano. She can send notes reverberating
