im back at work today. i might go home early though. luckilly no one is really asking why i was out. i think it might be because people dont really know my hours. my boss asked if i wanted to talk about anything but when i said: "no, not really", she totally respectfully left me alone ( Read more... )

It's a significant loss of a loved one. I think it'll be much like someone you love dying in terms of the feelings of loss/grief etc., just hopefully not as persistent as you start to move on with your life.

Grad school sucks, but I can say I never thought of breaking up with Amy during all the stress...And i was super stressed out too (also not in his program, so don't know what exactly he's going through with all of this).

Sorry about all of this crap, but I think it is better to have happened now rather than having it dragged out for months before it actually happened.

well, according to him he'd been pondering it "a long time" now everyone's long time is different but it might have been dragging out without me realizing it really.

according to his brother he is "hanging in there...". i'm hoping the "..." means he's doing poorly. i think he deserves it for all the pain he has put me through.

i think that your situation with amy, although also long distance, was much closer than cross the country. i think the farther you are apart, the harder it is. (im in no way trying to marginalizing the difficulties you guys had btw).
