im having a really hard time focusing today...even more so than usual. i really heavilly debated about calling in dead to work today but decided to come in, although, i might as well be at home because i am getting nothing accomplished

Awww..well that's definitely a change of pace! Congrats on the new boy and I hope things continue to progress. Its okay if he's moving a little fast as long as he's willing to listen to you when you need him to take a step back.

yeah he's been really good about the whole thing. i know i totally hurt his feelings (unintentionally) about the whole girlfriend thing but it was basically just a knee jerk reaction. i re-explained that i was coming out of a bad situation, that i didnt realize was bad until i was through the other side, and that it has made me a little gun shy when it comes to the whole "relationship" sort of thing. he doesnt know that david and i just broke up like 2 months ago. anyway, he's a really nice boy (i say boy because he's 23 ha ha) and he thinks im like the greatest thing ever. it's a nice change of pace :D

But you'll figure it out and just take it at your own pace. I think its good that you had that knee-jerk reaction, even if it unintentionally hurt your feelings. It just shows you have good common sense not to rush into things!
