Summary : Sakurai Sho was a singel father and he has 4 years old daughter. She was pretty, smart and cheerful, but she didn`t able to see the world, She never see the world around her, she was blind. But the worse was she couldn`t see her own mom, It was not because she is blind but because her mom left her and her dad. In the Sho`s disaster live Aiba came, he brought love and happiness to Sakurai family, but live wasn`t that easy...

An Angel and The Harsh Reality
Akari was still playing with the puppy. Sayuri looked at the little girl and glanced back at Sho with a shocked expression. The atmosphere turned for an awkward. Aiba don’t really know what he should do. He wanted to shoo that woman away but he just couldn’t do that in front of his cousin. Sho did not answer her and Aiba understood enough why he did that. He felt really guilty because he was the one who suggested Sho and Akari to visit his apartment instead of the pet shop, and now they end up meeting Sayuri at his apartment. Jun was the one who broke the awkward silence.
“Do you know him?” he asked his wife. Sayuri looked over to face him and nodded.
“My friend from university…,” she answered. Aiba must have tried his very best to have not slapped his cousin`s wife. He just wanted that woman to leave his apartment right there and then. How could she have answered like, they didn’t have any special relationship before, or Sho was her ex-husband, and they had a really cute daughter!!! Aiba glared at her angrily. If looks could kill, Sayuri is as good as dead. Sayuri felt the unwanted pressure and took a step back, as she tried to avoid Aiba`s gazed.
“Oh, Matsumoto Jun desu, Sayuri`s husband and Masaki`s cousin.” Jun smiled at Sho, he didn’t really notice that Aiba was glaring at his wife looking really pissed off. Sho tried to smile like he usually does.
“Sakurai Sho desu…,” he answered, “Nice to meet you…”
“Nice to meet you too, Masaki`s friend…?” Jun asked Sho.
“My boyfriend,” Aiba answered before Sho could say anything or even responds. He would not let Sho looked terrible in front of Sayuri. He wanted to show that woman that Sho has his own happy life even without her. Jun`s eyes widen in shocked yet he laughed.
“Wow, you never told me,” he punched his cousin’s arm playfully. Sho never in his dreams expected Aiba to say that, but he didn’t deny it. For a second he had totally forgotten that he was standing next to Sayuri.
“Papa?” Akari called his dad but still hugged onto the puppy tightly.
“Yes, dear?” Sho answered her.
“Who is there?” she asked. Jun looked at the little girl, and smiled. He walked closer to the little girl and caressed her hair softly.
“My name is Matsumoto Jun,” Jun looked into the little girl’s eyes, but it looked like the girl stared at a point blankly, he couldn’t find life in her eyes. Then he realize that the little girl was blind.
“Akari desu…,” she answered softly and bowed lightly. Jun smiled and caressed her hair again, “Can Akari call you Jun-pon…?” she asked.
Jun looked at Akari and laughed, “Of course, Akari-chan.”
“What is your little puppy’s name…?” Jun asked the little girl again.
“Akari don’t know…It`s Masaki-kun`s puppy…,” she laughed and hugged the puppy.
“Let’s named it then…,” Akari nodded in agreement.
“It`s white…,” Jun told the little girl, “like snow…”
“Jya, Yuki-chan…?”
“Cute name!” Jun hugged Akari and brought her into his embrace along with the puppy.
Aiba glanced over at Sayuri again, as he hated her more even now. After he saw the way his cousin talked and played with Akari. No one could hate Akari, everyone loved her, and her very own biological mom left her just like trash. Sayuri looked at her husband…and her daughter. Jun walked away as he enjoyed the conversation with Akari.
“It` been a long time since the last time I saw her…,” Sayuri said to Sho, she had to make sure her husband couldn’t hear her.
“I hope we won’t meet you forever,” Sho answered coldly, not even looking at his ex-wife.
“You look healthy…and Akari too…,” she just ignored the cold tone in Sho`s voice.
“Thanks to Masaki, he takes care of Akari and I everyday…”
“You guys are really going out?” she asked again.
Aiba smirked at her, “Of course we are,” he answered coldly.
“That’s why Masaki-kun hates me now?” she asked.
“You deserved it,” he answered her again.
“I actually missed her…”
Sho stood up almost immediately, furiously and faced his ex-wife, “Shut your mouth up and disappear!” he hissed. Sayuri smiled at him.
“I will…” she said softly, “Jun…we need to go now…” she called her husband. Jun turned back, walked closer and brought Akari with him.
“She is so cute…,” he smiled at Sho. Sho smiled back, as Jun returned Akari to her dad.
“Jyaa…I`ll come again…,” he said to Aiba, “We will play again ne Akari-chan…” he caressed her hair softly.
“Hai…,” Akari smiled widely and nodded.
“We will take our leave now…” Aiba nodded at him, and Jun bowed lightly to Sho, Sho bowed back at him. He walked out from the apartment, but Sayuri stayed still and looked at her daughter.
“I`ll disappear for now…but I will never promise you to not come back…I`m still her mother…”
“How dare~~” Sho held Aiba`s hand to stop him. Sayuri bowed and followed her husband. They stood at the same spot until Jun`s car disappear.
“Lets’ go inside…,” Aiba offered. Sho nodded and they walked into the apartment.

Akari was sitting on the floor near Aiba`s television. She placed her little hand on to the tv`s table to feel the vibration. She always did it while listening to the sounds. Aiba and Sho sat on the sofa and looked at the little girl.
“I`m sorry…,” Aiba whispered slowly. Sho smiled to him.
“What for?” He asked.
“For everything…”
“Mention that everything please…,” Sho stared at Aiba intensively.
“I apologize because I suggested you to come over to my apartment, and in the end you met her…,” he stared to the floor.
“It`s not your fault, I`m the one who decided not to visit the pet shop…”
“I apologize because I couldn’t do anything…I was too afraid to hurt Jun-kun…but I do love Akari-chan…”
“I understand…and didn’t I tell you that we don’t need to do anything about that…?” Sho asked him.
“Yes…” he nodded still staring at the floor. “but still…I feel really guilty…”
“There’s no need to feel guilty or anything…”
“And I`m so sorry…”
“Again?”
“For saying that you`re my boyfriend….I just couldn’t let her get it her way.. I can’t stand it, seeing her being all happy…,” he confessed, his cheeks turned pink.
“I don’t mind at all…,” Sho smiled at him.
“Really…?” he asked Sho.
He nodded in response, “Honestly…I was happy when I heard it…,” he answered Aiba. Aiba smiled at him. Sho moved closer to him, slowly but surely. Aiba didn’t back off, he just looked back at Sho. Sho tilted his head and still slowly inched closer to Aiba and he did the same and closed his eyes….waiting…
“Papa…” Akari called her dad. They opened their eyes immediately and stared at each other awkwardly.
“Papa?” Akari called Sho again. Sho turned his gaze to his daughter.
“Yes, sweet heart?” he asked his daughter.
“Papa…can Akari meet up with Kazu-nii today?” she asked her dad.
“Sure, sweet heart…we will go to Kazu-nii`s apartment ne~…,” he answered his daughter. “Ummmm…yes…we can go to Kazu-nii`s apartment now…,” he stood up and brought his daughter to her feet, and held her hand.
“I think…we should go back now…we have to drop by at Nino`s apartment first…before it gets dark…,” Sho smiled at Aiba. Aiba stood up awkwardly.
“Ahhh…yes…sure…” Aiba walked towards the front door, as Sho and Akari followed him. Aiba opened the door for Sho and moved aside to make way for them to pass by.
“Thank you…,” Sho turned back when he has already stepped outside of the room.
“It`s okay…,” Aiba replied with a smiled.
“We will come again tomorrow…,” Sho told him. Aiba looked at him confused. He wanted to come back to his apartment, even though it will mean that the chances of meeting Sayuri is kinda high?.
“Really?”
Sho smiled at him, “Really…you didn’t think that we won’t come here again right?”
“Ahhh…yes…of course…sure, I`ll be happy,” Aiba smiled widely.
“Arigatou Masaki-kun…” Aiba caressed her hair and Akari smiled widely to him.
“Jya…we will take our leave…,” Sho smiled at him. Aiba nodded in response. But in a blink of an eye, Sho came closer and give a light peck on Aiba’s lips. Aiba eyes widen in shock.
“Oyasumi…” he said it softly. “I`ll do it better next time,” he smiled to Aiba.
“O…oyasumi…,” Aiba slurred.
Sho pulled his daughter slowly and they walked away. Aiba gazed followed them, even after Sho and Akari had disappeared from his sight he kept looking at the last spot he saw them.
“Next time…?” he whispered to himself, smiled then closed the door.
