[One-shot] trust and distrust
“Moshi-moshi, Satoshi~~” I answered him.
“Kazu…?” he asked, his tone flat, like someone’s who’d spaced out, and of course it was me. No one would call him using my number and my voice right?
But in the end I answered him, “Of course it`s me, you wasn’t expecting another person, right?” I asked.
“No… What happened?” he questioned me.
“Nothing. I just wanted to call you, can’t I call you without any reason?”
“Of course you can, but…mmm… I can’t really talk right now…”he stuttered out.
“Why? I thought you`re free today…?”
“Yes, but I have a kind of business with Sho-kun,” he answered me again.
“Sho-kun? What business?”
“I`ll tell you later, I have to go now… Gomen, Kazu…” without waiting for my answer he hung up the phone. He was acting weird, even without looking at his expression I was sure about that. I decided I would back to my game while waiting for him, maybe I could call him again later.
“Arrrrghhhh!!” I screamed when my Mario was falling into lake of flames. “Okay~~ wakatta~~!!” I would never repeat the same mistake again. My cell phone started to vibrate when I tried starting the same level again, I pushed the ‘pause’ button. Aiba had texted me.
