I didn't know that stability was like this. It is dull, it is thrilling, it is unnerving, worrisome. I feel trapped, I feel vulnerable, I feel elated. The difference between this and the whirlwind of adolescent emotions, I guess, is that at the end of it all I know who I will be going to sleep next to at night. Last time my friend Kate came to see me (and she's lived in London before), she hopped off a plane from Africa.

Poor girl looked completetly bewildered for two days. I think the contrast of locations was a bit much.

So do keep it in mind.

But do come and stay here. At least when you first arrive... I think a hostel in the city isn't a BAD idea for a few days, just because where I live... it's only 30 minutes into the centre of town really, but it's not really got the kind of feeling of the big city.

Which of course I like now. But didn't want when I first came here!

However my house does have one thing that no where else in the world has... a HEATHER! who will be SO excited to see you!!!
