went to symphony sunday and bout died from the heat, all the bands were great but of all the local bands the kanawha community band really stood out. well i was walkin around and i met a director of the west virginia youth symphony and he said that auditions were coming up soon and i should give it a try, well i did, i showed up, played my scales,

You auditioned for WV Youth Symphony-Orch? That's awesome! I've been in it the past two years (on clarinet) eh.. our performance @ Symphony Sunday could've been A LOT better! but I do agree, the KVB did stand out from among the rest.

We're in desperate need of more winds, so more than likely, you made the orch easily, no sweat :)

lol yeah i made it, but they said if i play euphonium it would be a waste of my time because there wouldnt be much music for me to play, so they offered me free french horn lessons and i could audition again at the end of augest on french horn. i might do it, but im not to crazy about french horn lol
