I really miss being paid as a full-time employee. I don't know where all the money I made over the last six months went, but it's *gone*; at last glance my checking account had, oh, $9.63 in it. That sounds amazing! (The last concert I saw was the Robert W. Carbonaro Elementary School Junior Band....complete with squeaky clarinets and the kid who loves to drop the cymbals. <3)

The Orchestra was great, but Junior Band? Man that brings back memories! Everyone playing the melody regardless of instrument and no one *quite* on pitch? Very cringe-worthy but hilarious nonetheless. To be fair, I was the kid that always dropped the cymbals, or rather, slammed her trumpet into her music stand multiple times, which has to be the brass section equivalent.

Ahh, exactly! See, I was the kid who hoped for Robby Kim to move away so I could be first-chair clarinet. Now I'm on bass clarinet, experiencing for the first time being both first and last chair. xD It's cool, but the tuba player likes to plunk down his instrument on my foot quite often. :)
