The fact that I've only got four more hours to study for my Materials final should be putting the fear of God into me; I need to pass this thing and then some. But I keep falling asleep face down in my textbook. I could blame it on my being awake since 3 am, but in reality it's out of sheer boredom. I detest this class. *sigh* Just to wake myself

That was pretty much the only purpose of this comment. Oh wait, there was another--have you seen the DW movie? If you haven't, you must (it's on the wonderful resource for non-UK fans ^_^)--if only to see the Eighth Doctor in his lovely velvet frock coat and cravat. Yes.

Okay, I was wrong, I had more than one purpose. Have you seen the Torchwood ep yet? Last time I checked there were only systems I hadn't used yet, so I was wary of trying to get it. And then I got distracted. Hee. ^_^

And I have a Jane Austen dress for Halloween. (Does this count as geekery? I think it does.)

Are you in Philly right now? If so, we should definitely meet up! I'm going to be down there Thursday-Saturday morning for an Honors conference, and I'd LOVE to see you. I'll let you know where we are staying and such because I'm not sure what part of Philly we'll be in. ^__^

Yes, I am in Philly (really, do I ever get to leave?). I would LOVE to see you! I've unfortunately got a lot of work those days; I work full-time during the day and then have part-time evening hours both Thursday and Friday... but let me know as soon as you can when you might have some free time in your schedule and I'll work on getting coverage. I'm free Saturday morning, though.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! I will let you know the moment I have the details about where we are staying and my time schedule.

I just e-mailed ANOTHER one of the directors because I can't seem to elicit any answers from people in the program about those things...even the ones taking me. Really frustrating...especially since originally I wasn't supposed to leave until late Thursday and would be coming back Friday night. I budgeted time and scheduling for that, then yesterday they tell me, oh we're leaving Thursday MORNING and staying until Saturday afternoon. RARGH!

Ooo, I really, REALLY hope we can get together because I really want to see you, catch up and squee! ^o^ Hehe, and I'll feel much safer with someone who actually knows their way around Philly, including good areas and areas that are best left alone.

I will be staying at the Mariott Hotel, which they told me wasn't terribly far from Drexel, and in terms of scheduling, the only thing I have to do is present my conference poster from 2:00-4:00 on Friday. I choose what other events I want to go to, and as far as meals go, I believe we are allowed to go off on our own as long as we let them know where we will be and how to reach us, so if you'd like to meet for a meal or sometime in the evening if you have work, that should be fine.

Just let me know--you can give my cell a call, I'll have it with me when I'm there, or call my room tonight. ^__^ I'll keep you posted as I get more info.
