I am getting married this summer! Grey's Inn have given us permission and it is full steam ahead.

With the wisdom generated by many hours on the internets I am not joining any wedding communities, reading any special magazines or reading any newspapre articles.

The reason for this is that wedding media tends to broadly run along 3 main themes...

Woohoo, congrats! The media did get one thing right though, which is a point you've missed off. You're getting married because you're a MOTHERFUCKING PRINCESS. That's the biggest and the best typecasting :D

I agree with your thoughts on wedding media, but if you can get past the tripe there is some good advice going round. I reviewed many wedding planning forums when I was planning Lolita in Wonderland!
