A glorious weekend!

I made my own mackerel pate, saw a huuge bonfire and went shopping with Seran!

We spent 4 hours in John Lewis and had much cake. With her help I have bought a sewing machine.

I have taken the sewing machine out of it's box and keep looking at it. I find it a little intimidating!

I am going to make a cape! It seemed quite straight forward and I could give it to my little cousin for fancy dress wear if it goes wrong.

The sewing machine says that it is best suited for 'quilting and making dolls clothes'. I hope I have bought an adults one!
