Went out to help a friend celebrate his 20th birthday...and let me say now I did have an ace time :) Got talked into wearing heels, now I own some but don't generally wear them as at 5' 10" it does make me rather ridiculously tall, but I thought well why not. Coincidentally enough I got a text from one of the students this morning saying that she couldn't come into the lab today, since she's broken her ankle during a 21st b'day party last night. Somehow I imagine that high heels and alcohol featured there too, must be the season for it?
