It's late, I'm sorry. But, you know. Fluffyness. You've seen the wedding one, right?
"Owen's looking at us," Jack muttered, watching Owen and Tosh hovering by the second replacement DJ of the day.
"Don't ruin the moment by mentioning Owen."
"Not so keen on your new best friend anymore?"
"Shut up."
"I think you're a bit drunk." Ianto turned his head and buried his face in Jack's neck. Jack felt him smile.
"DJs get free drinks, apparently."
"Lucky you." The song ended, fading into another slow song Jack had heard before but couldn't remember the name of. He kept hold of Ianto's hand, and pulled him closer towards him to avoid him moving away when the song changed. "Yan... do you want the weekend off?" Ianto snorted quietly.
"There's paperwork for all of this to sort out. And the Weevil... thing from the other day. And Myfanwy's still a bit off and. What?" Ianto pulled back to look into Jack's smiling face.
"I was talking about us taking the weekend off. Me and you. Go somewhere. Do something. Even if it's just to your flat to sort out your CDs." Ianto moved his head back to where it was before.
"And the fact that this is the weekend Gwen is away..." The older man sighed, rolling his eyes even though Ianto couldn't see.
"I was after you long before Gwen. Remember? Even the pterodactyl wanted us together."
"No, she wanted you to stop hanging onto her. Can't exactly blame her, do you know how heavy you are?"
"No, not really. But you do," he moved closer to whisper in Ianto's ear, "Gwen doesn't. Gwen doesn't know a lot of things about me that you do."
"And I'm sure she's overcome with jealousy from not knowing what your favourite type of biscuit is, Captain." A pause, and then, "Owen's looking at us."
"Don't ruin the moment by mentioning Owen." Ianto pulled away from Jack, putting space between them.
"He's planning something, he's talking to the DJ. Come on, before he makes them put on something horrible. You can buy me another drink," Ianto said, keeping his hand in Jack's and leading him towards the small bar, "and take advantage of me later."
