Yeah, Sears appliance delivery... A damaged microwave, a damaged range (both sent back for redelivery), and the wrong color dishwasher. Oh, and misleading information regarding delivery date.

If it's not the model you ordered, they are supposed to give you the equivalent or next model up.

Suffice it to say, I don't deal with Sears anywore.

Perhaps the experiences we both had over the past few months has taught us one very important lesson:

buy from smaller shops and avoid the large national chains.

You might end up paying more, but in the end you'll probably save in terms of time and agony over dealing with asshole corporations.

My experiences have purely been through Home Depot, but it's been for both carpet and appliances. Needless to say, when we eventually buy our new stove, it will not be at HD!

We went to Sears... turns out they dont sell the clear tops anymore. BUT ... I dont understand how they can sell us a washer that they don't have. I'm really.. cranky about it. I mean.. no it's not a big deal, really... but it's the principal of it.

So.. I went in there.. told her what happened. And then told her... I want x taken off .. x taken off... and some for our trouble.

She did. WHOO HOO! :) I just went in on fire.. and she could tell. I had the attitude the moment I went in.

Oh ya... I totally whined!! :) (after I got the money off.)
