As many have already started to notice, Seifer is no longer here. He's been sent back again, as the Scientists can't seem to make up their minds when it comes to him. But that is beside the point. Yet again the Watch is without it's leader and... I will be stepping in to take up the position, at least until he ( Read more... )

Endless cycle of give and take, or taking but no giving..

Comrade of Seifer's?

We knew each other for a brief while. An acquaintance would be the best term for him.

And you? Did you know him well?

Will you be the new leader of the watch?

My name is Okita, Souji. I was a member of the watch over Marshall and the School/ hospital area. I was also on monster control. I can provide reports on such subjects however, I have been out of commission with a cold so, I am a bit unaware as to the current situation. However, I have kept up my report. Please let me know how I may be able to help.

Seifer gone....not sure I should be happy or sad about this.

For now it seems. When Seifer left the first time no one stepped up to take the lead, though I had considered it. When he returned he was quick to speak to me and he had seemed to be "training" me to eventually take over. For his own selfish reasons, but that was beside the point.

So now that he is gone, and I doubt the situation has changed on the willingness of anyone to lead, I have stepped up.

Okita, it is a pleasure. I am Credo. And any information you can give is fine. Current the worse that has happened had been thieves, but nothing too serious. Keeping watch in the areas you mentioned will be help enough, but if there is reason for me to need more, I will inform you.

Thank you. [A respectful bow of his head.]

... so it really is true huh?

Well, good riddance. And good luck with that whole watch thing bud. You've got your work cut out for you I'm sure.

For now. Who knows if they'll decide to bring him back once again.

[Good riddance? Huh, that was different than most replies he'd gotten.]

Luck is exactly what I need, I'll take what I can get.

{It's a lie mostly, he really liked Seifer despite their ups and downs.}

I hope not. He doesn't belong here.

No kidding, as unpredictable this place is? Though I'm sure you'll find some more volunteers should you need. You seem to have your head a little more well adjusted on your shoulders in any case.

Many don't, but that is the way of Discedo.

More volunteers would be good, but being able to have the ones we already have work together is something I would like to work on first. But I would hardly turn any away who are willing to help. [And not Wesker :|]

I'm not a member of the Watch, but... good luck in holding your new position.

Thank you.

It... was more out of necessity, but I plan on upholding it to the best of my ability.

Have you led an organized force like this before?

I was a general of a regiment of knights back home. A bit different than a rag tag group of volunteers, but the same idea.

Hm, we'll see.

Though I hope I can rely on you and others if I start to falter?
