While the fog does make it difficult to see much, if anything, I figure someone needs to do patrols for the citizens that do wander out into this mess.

I would caution people not to unless they absolutely have to. Not regarding the fact that you can barely see a few centimeters in front of your face, the fiends could have an easier time

The fog seems to reach up fairly high, even then it doesn't seem to thin out at all.

A fair point. But I am curious as to how the fog impacts your sense of direction. There have been many reports of physical disorientation.

Greatly. Not being able to see the hand in front of your face makes any sense of direction null and void. I would still rather be in the air than on the ground where something could potentially attack me without my knowledge.

I'm sure some of the beasts here can see well even in this mess of fog.
