Good Evening, Discedo.

My apologies to everyone but I've been rather busy lately, and didn't get to do as much planning for Halloween as I hoped.

However, we shouldn't let such a holiday pass us by. Even if it's only two days away, we must do something! I still have some pumpkins that need to be carved and decorated, if someone wishes for one, ( Read more... )

Yes. I believe this city needs a nice festive holiday and Halloween is one of the most festive I know of. If you ignore the fact the dead walk among the living....

Hm, well it'd be nice to find
*some kind of paper or cloths to make masks out of.
*Something people can carry candy and treats in
*Music
*Food and Drinks. I believe the Bar would be best for this, I'll have to ask.

Yes! Have you not heard of Halloween in your world?

Where I'm from it's a festival where children dress up in costumes and go from door to door asking for candy treats. Adults tend to hold costume parties and sometimes contests.

it's actually a day to mark the end of the harvest Season. It's believed Halloween is the day when the barrier between the spirit world and the living world is at it's weakest. Therefore, one might see the dead or be able to speak with those who have passed. Some traditions use this as a frightening factor, or some spirits use it as a way to escape, but it can also be a time to cherish those who have passed to the spirit world.

I'm familiar with it. ... well, in theory, I suppose.

Dressing up in costumes and asking for treats does sound quite fun! Though I wonder if that would be dangerous considering our current location...

But you mentioned seeing the dead...? Would you suppose that would be able to occur despite the chips in place here?

I know it'd be dangerous, but to host a trick or treating festival event inside the School, for example, would be much easier to contain.

The dead walk around quite a lot here... if you include the monsters haunting the basement of the hospital and those who walk the streets.

However, I've heard there was a time where the former residents of this city appeared as ghosts. This world doesn't seem to work the same as the ones I've been to in the past... but that shouldn't keep one from being cautious or paying their respects.

Gracia-san and myself are going Trick-or-Treating, and others have shown interest in joining. That should be a good start, I believe.
