[Rebecca's noticed Cube's listlessness recently with growing concern. She doesn't know much about him outside of work...but she's familiar enough to know when something is wrong...]

Hey Cube, is everything okay?

[Cube turns sharply int he direction of the voice, noticing the communicator. The orbs disappear as he grabs the device]

Why did it turn on?

A-Ah, I'm alright.

[Obviously a lie. Stress darkens his face.]

I'm sorry if I've disturbed you.

[Head not moving, Cube's eyes turn to the side, cheeks lighting up from embarrassment]

H-how much did you see...?

[She gives him her patent 'you can't lie to me, I'm an officer' look.]

You look pretty upset for someone who's "alright". All I saw was a bunch of strange orb things and you looking distressed. You've looked pretty upset for awhile now, what's going on?

[He fidgets, not wanting to explain the orbs. The last thing he'd want to happen is Flandre to find out he had been spying on her relationships like that. So, instead he at least doesn't put up a fight about his troubles]

Flandre-chan hasn't come home yet. I can't find her and... she hasn't been sent home. I've tried to use the device quite a few times to reach her but no response.

[Exhausted, it's a bit hard to hold back his tears of worry]

I don't know what to do. I've not felt this useless... in quite some time.

[There is a new thing in the office! Well, one of them; Cube's. In the corner.

There is a small bat roosting here, though awkwardly; she wasn't fully used to this form. Just one; Flandre had never learned this swarm-of-bats thing her sister did.

Her wings are wrapped around herself; both from instinct (where else were they supposed to go?) and comfort, against that horrible, aching loneliness.

It was only a small comfort.]

[Unknown to Cube, the yet-named rabbit is making his way around the room. Hugging the walls, he hops against it while exploring.

Pausing, he sniffs the air.]

-The corner! Something is there!-

[The rabbit freezes. Time stops and his red eyes just watch the other small creature.

Despite his tail flicking, telling him to run, he hops forward and pushes his pink nose close to the wrapped animal.]

-This is new. What is it? It's warm. New warm thing!-

[Action] I thought that said noteasterbeams at first and was like LASERS WHERE

[Flandre heard a soft, quiet thumping noise, but she hadn't paid it much attention.

Though she squeaks when poked. The bat is rather squishy (and little) and her head pops put from under her wings, ears still mostly flat against her head.

She also has beady red eyes! Which blink up at the rabbit.]

[Action] LMAO Anti-Easter beams. XD

[The rabbit darts away at the first sign of movement.

Blink. Blink. The red eyes exchange glances.

Slowly, the male rabbit ventures back, towards the bat for another sniff. If Flandre holds still long enough the rabbit will sniff her and then bump it's head against her.]

[Cube quickly dismisses the orbs, and looks about for gaga then stands in puzzlement until he realizes it was emitting from the communicator.]

[This gets his attention... well, just long enough to check if Cube is in trouble. He doesn't seem to be.]

[He sounds irritated (which would be as usual,) but there's something dull behind it.]

[Cube pushes the orbs away and they vanish. He fumbles with the device a moment, dropping it once before re responds properly.]

[Cube isn't sure what to say. His ears droop.]
