I don't like vampires. Vampires are FRIGHTENING.

What do any of us care about bloody bleeding bloodsucking VAMPIRES?!!?!?! How about protection of pirates? "APOPASS." Association for the Protection of Pirates and Scurvy Seadogs. Much more better!

I've heard many more cases of pirates being unjust, though I suppose there could be an organization for that, too.

[ yes, she's serious. ]

Really? You're thinking of forming one?

[And along comes wandering one Grune! She won't exactly understand, well, most of what Hermione is trying to accomplish (despite living on a world with millennia of inter-species hatred and violence), but keep using words like "true friendship" and "kindness" and you'll definitely have a convert.]

[ hermione hops up with a badge in hand and hurries over. ]

I'm starting an organization for equality. Would you like to join? There's a complimentary badge included.

[Oh, it's Hermione!]

Oh, yes, of course! That sounds like a very good idea.

[And that, as far as Grune is concerned, is that. Why would you need to ask any questions about an organization's purpose or goals or even who or what it's trying to achieve equality for?]

Wonderful! They come in all colors if you don't like this one. [ she offers the badge. ] I just thought it would be a good start towards gaining equality for everyone who's forced to live here. It would at least make our lives a little easier to deal with here.

[Ask Draco for the opinion of one twelve-year-old girl's opinion of blood purity.]

Society Advocating Vampiric Education. Interesting.

Yes. It's a good start to gaining respect and equality for everyone.

I agree with the sentiment of the idea. It's never fair to judge someone because of their race, blood purity, skin color, whatever. One should always get to know the individual before making any judgements. Just... be careful about this one. It's a touchy subject.

Believe me, I understand. As someone who has been tormented based on blood purity, I understand what's at stake. [ if by 'tormented' she means 'tortured' ... then yeah. ]
