There's been a metric fuck tonne wrong with this show, and this series in particular, but this episode was an example of when it gets things (mostly) right. (I am still of the opinion that they've changed so much of the legend why not just have Arthur live?) And since Merlin/Arthur's one of my OTPs (of which I have exactly three across my many fandoms), I loved it for all of the Merlin/Arthuriness, I really fucking did.
