Re caffeine and exercise/aches and pains. The caffeine dilates your blood vessels and increases blood flow, doesn't it? Would that help with aching muscles?
What about tea? You WERE born in England, after all!
Moving is something I've come to dread, partially for the physical strain, but more for the mental. It just never ends. And it's possible that bethje and I will have to move back to her mom's house soon, although we don't know for sure.
I know enough to mostly keep off caffeine, just to avoid the detox, but I'm struggling with sugarless gum/Diet Sunkist as an addiction pattern I want to over-come on general principles and to try and clean out my system a bit more. Cold Turkey failed dismally and honestly, I need something to get through the misery here....but once I start a gum pack I literally cannot stop until it's all chewed out and then the sorbitol hits my gut and it the results ain't pretty.
For me it's a mixture of boredom and anxiety and somehow sucking down a soda that has that little jolt of sweetness or chomping on the gum gets me through it, but I really want to get "cleaner" on that front. I managed when I had a week off, but at the Desk of Doom, it has to be a considered victory if I only have one soda and one pack of gum for the day.

Hmm, I don't know, um - does it? Either way I was very naughty and finally am back on the coke zero. I'll have to find another solution, though.
