I think this might actually hit my all time favourite eps list. I don't think there's a single thing I can fault it on. I love how much more human they're making Henry this season.
Oh, and is it me, or does one of the writer's have a distracting obsession with lichen?
It was awesome from the appearance of Josh Malina (Jeremy for Sports night for me!) and then they added in Biff! and I squeed a little.
(Fun fact - even though he's always Biff first? I also think of him as Maniac from FMVs of the later Wing Commander games. Which he starred in alongside MArk Hamil.)
And then they used Hungry Like A Wolf and sold the whole episode for me. Fantastic.
Little thing I loved - Lassiter pulling up and jumping out of the car with 'Way to go, partner!' I love the Lassiter/Jules partner!ship. ♥
I actually don't know the actor's real name. I feel bad about this, because I have seen him in many, many roles --- but he is always Biff to me.
The Lassiter/Jules partnership ROCKS. I love how well they work together and that they obviously truly respect and like each other. Also, it tends to bring out Lassiter's human side, which is never a bad thing.
"Imagine Robert Goulet dressed like Mr. Bean playing the Scarecrow in a summer stock production of the Wizard of Oz dedicated to Tony Randall." ::DIES::
...Okay, so he wasn't lying. I'm glad, actually. Henry gets screwed over enough.
I initially thought he was a Lying McLiarson, too, and was pleasantly surprised that he didn't just hire those kids and a lady to dress up as a nun. For once, doing a good thing resulted in a good thing! I also loved Shawn giving his dad pointers for eliminating the other competitors. ;-)
I can't help but wonder what Tim O thought of that description (or if, in fact, he had a part in constructing it.)
I loved Shawn making sure his trick to get Henry to high-five didn't work. That scene by itself was awesome --- that Henry had noticed all the things Shawn had except for the germaphobe. But then they also added in Shawn doing something relatively nice. I like it when Shawn's a sweetheart. Also, Shawn's soft voice does things to me.

I honestly don't know how you read a recap before seeing the episode.

Um --- I haven't noticed the other references to lichen, but it wouldn't surprise me if they do?

Whimpering over the trailer for next week.
Loved the Psych Out.

I do not watch the trailers for the next week's episodes. But I have a fair idea of which episode this will be, because I accidentally saw the title.
And then it's the hiatus, which is so not fair.
