basically our political systems, mainly focusing on the strategies and problems with conservatives versus liberals and why each one does what it does and why they fail when they fail. the point of view being based upon a segment in the Nietzsche book, Beyond Good and Evil, which i recommend highly if you haven't read. the part about other philosophers is not to be missed. really, it's nothing spectacular, just something i wrote on a whim cuz i was bored in a class and it turned out to be "impressive." so whatever. if this is Alex, and who else would it be: come home, dude.

thanks for listening.

We don't get to Neitzche until Junior or senior year. That's when we read all the crazy Germans. Kant, Hegel, Heidigger (sp?), Marx, Neitzche. Though I did read part of the Birth of Tragedy in the "class" I took at Perimeter. I was all about Apollo vs. Dionysus and which one man truly gravitates toward. Or something. That class was terrible. I should probably go back and read it now that I've read all this Greek crap. Oh yeah, Neitzche was crazy.

yes, he kinda was. i like his backstory, it's kinda funny is a really depressing kind of way. I think Nietzsche was Russian, but i could be mistaken, because i'm not sure where i heard that but i've never heard anyone say different. I really like his thoughts on how Jews created Christianity to destroy the Roman empire. i remember a good five minute pause after our instructor said that, everyone was kinda just like "that kinda makes sense, but... damn..."

thanks for listening.
