My iphone has died an untimely death. So I have now lost all of my photos, all of Holly's life was on that phone. Yes, yes I know, back up. I know I know. My own stupid fault - valuable lesson well and truly learnt

That really sucks! You didn't have iCloud? My iPhone updates over wifi when it's on charge and iTunes is open on my desktop. I'd be a wreck if I lost all the pix on my phone.

Nope, I'd never even heard of icloud. It is all gone!
