hehe yay! What grade/subject do you teach? I'm in my second year of college studying to be a high school math teacher...but I think it says that in my userinfo so you may have already known that!

Well, I graduated last May with a degree in early childhood educ. I am now in grad school for just one more year. I am extending my license and will be certified to each PreK-6 when i graduate again in May '07. Ideally, I want to teach 3-5 grade. But you never know where you're gonna end up!

If you don't mind me asking, where are you at school?

3-5 grade sounds pretty good. I really love little kids though, like nursery school. But i don't know if I'd have the patience to teach nursery school! I babysit kids around that age though so that's fun. But that's not every day lol.
I got to St. Joseph's, which is a small school here on Long Island. It doesn't have dorms or anything, but it has a good reputation around here, especially for education majors. Where did you go/where are you going for grad school?

The little ones sure are cute, but I couldn't handle the runny noses and bathroom accidents day in and day out! I student taught in K & 3 last spring and the K class was a struggle for me!

I am at James Madison University (JMU) in the Shenandoah Valley in VA. I also went to undergrad here. I have heard of St. Joseph's. Don't know anyone who goes there but I have a lot of friends from that area and I know I've heard of it.
